On May 22 in Rome, the AI Magister hub was officially established, a digital innovation hub that is part of the European EDIH network and has been classified as a “Seal of Excellence” by the European Commission, a recognition awarded to valuable projects aimed at supporting companies in their Digital Transition.
The project was formalized with the signing of a Temporary Purpose Association (ATS) and was born from the collaboration between 17 organizations including Italian companies and universities.
Among the founding partners of AI Magister is our company, Social Thingum, which, through our technology transfer company, is committed every day to supporting the innovation of digital technologies for businesses and public administrations.
AI Magister promotes the adoption of innovative and sustainable digital solutions through the services offered by the 17 network partners. Companies that take advantage of these services can benefit from the various incentives financed by MIMIT (Ministry of Innovation and Made in Italy) with funds from the Italian PNRR.
AI Magister: A Network Supporting the Digital Transition
AI MAGISTER is a digital innovation hub, an incubator of ideas capable of accelerating companies’ production processes, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
In particular, it is one of the projects of the European EDIH network (European Digital Innovation Hubs), innovation centers selected by the European Commission to support companies in improving their business processes, products, or services that use digital technologies.
AI MAGISTER is supported by a solid network of 17 complementary organizations throughout Italy, involving 88 dedicated professionals, 42% of whom are women. This network brings together a wide range of skills, resources, and pre-existing assets to strengthen our presence and services.
The goal is to ensure the digital transition of public administration and industry, with a particular focus on SMEs through various training and technology transfer services, to guide companies toward the effective, inclusive, and sustainable adoption of AI.
This transition and acceleration are made possible on preferential terms thanks to the PNRR funds allocated by MIMIT within the framework of the “Next Generation EU” program. The incentives provide for a cost coverage ranging from 30% to 100% of the list price, based on an eligibility assessment.
