On May 29 and 30, 2024 the Dublin Tech Summit returns at the Royal Dublin Society in Dublin, one of Europe’s most important technology festivals held annually since 2017.
Italian participation was supported by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), also known as the Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE). This agency is actively committed to fostering the economic and commercial development of Italian companies in international markets.
We at WhoTeach, our professional Digital Learning platform equipped with new Artificial Intelligence features, will also participate in the event. In this article, we will explore it in more detail.
Initiatives and Topics of Dublin Tech Summit 2024
The Dublin Tech Summit brings together leading professionals and companies from around the world, who share their experiences and demonstrate how they drive innovation through the most advanced technologies.
This year’s agenda includes a focus on AI and machine learning, its impact on the labor market, and on society as a whole. The impact of AI is increasingly evident: it isn’t only about improving software development efficiency, but also about affecting areas such as visual perception, space-time management, and even decision-making. AI not only simplifies complex tasks, but has also evolved into an entity capable of understanding and acting in ways that require intelligence and judgment, making daily life smoother and more efficient.
Emerging topics will also cover the latest technologies in the sector, such as the metaverse and VR & AR, digital security issues like cybersecurity and the development of space technologies such as space tech.
DTS24 will also host a series of speakers from leading technology companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Google and many others. For example, Omar Hatamleh, Chief Advisor for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation at NASA, who helps promote AI initiatives within the organization, and Sasha Rubel, Head of Public Policy for AI and Machine Learning at Amazon Web Services (AWS), who will delve into developing an environment conducive to the responsible adoption of AI and machine learning technologies.
Within DTS24, four distinct stages will be set up: one for presentations and conferences, another where industry leaders can share their ideas and innovative solutions, a third reserved for exhibition spaces for startups, and finally, a fourth dedicated to exclusive experiences and specialized workshops.
The Italian Participation
ITA ICE, as every year, has been very successful in promoting the collective participation of Italian companies at the fair, thereby ensuring the Italian presence and fostering the development of innovation and Italian entrepreneurship abroad.
The dedicated pavilion, spanning about 100 square meters, will not only host exhibition spaces for the participating startups and SMEs but will also offer a wide range of workshops, seminars, and interactive activities to encourage knowledge exchange and a deeper exploration of the most current technological topics.
Previous editions have seen a significant turnout, with the participation of over a hundred startups from various sectors and more than two hundred international speakers from around the world. For this edition, the expectation is for the participation of 8,000 technology enthusiasts and hundreds of speakers and representatives from 60 different countries.
WhoTeach at DTS24
We at WhoTeach will also participate in Dublin Tech Summit 2024, ready to share our cutting-edge Digital Learning solutions and seize new growth and collaboration opportunities in the tech field.
As we have already done at MWC in Barcelona and the Didacta Fair in Florence, we will present the innovative features of our digital learning platform, such as the creation of educational content in a simpler and faster way, thanks to the use of Artificial Intelligence and Generative Artificial Intelligence.
Moreover, this opportunity will allow us to meet and engage with leaders and experts from other sectors, fostering mutual growth and exchange.
Conclusion
Dublin Tech Summit 2024 offers innovative Italian startups and SMEs unique networking opportunities and the chance to connect with the most significant players in the world of innovation, both Irish and international.
As a company, we are excited to participate in such an important event that, with a wide array of expert speakers, an exhibition area, and various startups to discover, offers the opportunity to gain new perspectives and connections in the technology field.
